The WWE presented the 28th annual Survivor Series live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis Sunday night and in a huge moment for the company, Steve "Sting" Borden appeared in a WWE ring for the first time.

Team Cena topped Team Authority in the main event when Dolph Ziggler - the lone man standing for Team Cena - defeated Team Authority captain Seth Rollins with the help of Sting.

The ending sequence saw Triple H pull the referee out when Ziggler had the match won and hit him. "The Game" then took out another referee and attacked Ziggler, hitting him with the Pedigree and placing Seth Rollins on top of him in a pinning position.

The lights then went out and Sting came down to the ring. After a stare down with Triple H, Sting attacked "The King of Kings" and reversed the pin so that Ziggler was on top of Rollins. The referee then came back in and counted the fall to end the match.

The Big Show turned heel in the bout by delivering a knockout punch to John Cena and allowing Rollins to pin him before intentionally getting disqualified. Ziggler then overcame three-on-one odds by eliminating Kane, Luke Harper and Rollins to win the match.

The order of elimination was Mark Henry (via Big Show knockout punch), Ryback (Curb Stomp by Rollins, pin by Kane), Rusev (countout), Rowan (clothesline), Cena (Big Show knockout punch), Big Show (intentional count out), Kane (ZigZag), Harper (rollup) and Rollins (Sting interference).

Per the match rules, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are no longer in power in the WWE. The ending events seem to plant the seeds for a WrestleMania 31 match between Sting and Triple H in March at Levi's Stadium.

Sting has said in past interviews that if he can't face The Undertaker at the Show of Shows, he would like to battle "The Game."

The Survivor Series went off the air with Stephanie McMahon crying in a shocked Triple H's arms over the two losing their power.

Two new champions were also crowned when the smoke cleared Sunday night.

There are Tag Team Champions as The Miz and Damien Sandow won the gold after defeating Goldust & Stardust, The Usos and Los Matadores in a Fatal 4 Way tag team match. The match wasn't elimination rules and the ending saw Sandow blind tag in and win the bout for his team.

Elsewhere, Nikki Bella defeated AJ Lee to capture the WWE Divas Championship after Brie Bella got on the apron and kissed Lee, distracting her long enough for Bella to attack her and hit the Rack Attack.

In a singles match, Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose via disqualification after Ambrose struck him with a steel chair. Ambrose then elbowed him through a table from the top rope and it was later revealed that a TLC match will occur between the two next month.

Also in Divas land, there was a traditional four-on-four Survivor Series elimination match that saw Alicia Fox, Naomi, Emma and Natalya defeat Paige, Cameron, Layla and Summer Rae in a clean sweep. The order of elimination was Cameron (pinned by Naomi), Layla (pinned by Fox), Summer Rae (submission via Emma) and Paige (pinned by Naomi).

There was an impromptu tag team match that saw Adam Rose and The Bunny defeat Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil. The Bunny got the pin on Slater as Rose looked on menacingly.
