The No. 6 TCU Horned Frogs can make the biggest statement of the weekend if they can come away with a win against the red hot No. 7 Kansas State Wildcats.

Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson spoke about the game and TCU’s positioning in the College Football Playoff and said that he couldn't be happier with his team and if they play their game everything will take care of itself.

"I'm a happy camper. They have to come to our house," Patterson said. "Because of our mindset, this will be a different team than they have played the last two years. Both of us can play ground and pound or play action. It's a different animal.”

Kansas State coach Bill Snyder said it is all business this week within team and they want to take both the Big 12 and TCU’s spot in the College Football Playoff.

"My only thinking right now is TCU and we will worry about the others when we come to them," Snyder said. "We all know the quality of TCU's football team, players and coaches."

With a win, the Wildcats will likely get the most recognition of the Big 12 schools seeing how their lone loss came at the hands of No. 3 Auburn. A game that many would say Kansas State should have won, but let slip through their fingers.

Kansas State leads the all-time series against TCU 4-3 and the Wildcats have taken then last two from the Horned Frogs. TCU’s last win against Kansas State came in 1986 and the Wildcats beat TCU 33-31 last season.
