The No. 9 Arizona State Sun Devils host the No. 10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in what ends up being an elimination game when it comes to the College Football Playoff.

Arizona State coach Todd Graham spoke about he matchup and said that it is very likely that the Fighting Irish will be the biggest test his Sun Devil team will face this season.

"This is arguably the best football team we've seen all year and with that comes great opportunity," Graham said. "I don't have to give our players any motivational speeches this week; they're going to be pretty fired up to play.”

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly spoke about the game as well and said that his team needs to tighten some things up before his team can be considered a national championship contender.

"We've got a couple things we're going to experiment with today, and then we'll get a better feel," Kelly said Tuesday. "We haven't practiced yet, so we have a system that we'll employ today, and I think we'll get a better feel over the next couple days.”

Notre Dame’s only loss came at the hands of the No. Florida State Seminoles and Arizona State’s only loss came against then-No. 11 UCLA 62-27 in late September.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series against Arizona State 3-0 and the Fighting Irish took the 2013 edition of this matchup 37-34.
