The Seattle Seahawks beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, but the victory was overshadowed by news that the team is growing tired of one of their star players.
Reports have surfaced that the Seahawks front office is growing tired of running back Marshawn Lynch’s attitude with the team and cannot see a scenario where they bring back the four-time Pro Bowler.
Buccaneers Look to Trade Doug Martin, Vincent Jackson
“The organization has grown tired of his ways, including pulling a no-show at the White House Super Bowl ceremony, his training camp holdout and his possible contribution to locker-room distractions.
Marshawn Lynch doesn't expect to be with Seattle next season -- and the team feels the same way, sources say.”
The report continues to say that the Seahawks could look to trade Lynch by Tuesday’s trade deadline, but injuries to fullback Derrick Coleman could force Seattle’s hand. The team will move running back Robert Turbin to the fullback position and Christine Michael will continue his limited role in relief of Lynch.
Other reports are that the Seahawks locker room woes have been exaggerated and that quarterback Russell Wilson even argued with the front office to keep recently traded wide receiver, Percy Harvin.
Lynch held out of Seattle training camp this past offseason and it seems his recent actions and his reaction to the Harvin trade have made him no friends in the locker room or the front office. The NFL trade deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
