The Green Bay Packers dropped a shootout against the New Orleans Saints Sunday night, but they may have also lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers to injury as well.

Rodgers performed well in the 44-23 loss to the Saints, but pulled up with a hamstring injury in the third quarter after a seven-yard scramble for a first down. Rodgers did not leave the game until the 3:16 mark in the fourth quarter and spoke about the situation after the game.

Rodgers simply responded "We'll see,” when asked if he will be spending most of the Packers bye week at the team facility, but he also put plenty of minds at ease by stating "I'm not going to miss any time.”

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said it was encouraging that Rodgers was able to play through the injury Sunday night, but thought about making a switch at quarterback. McCarthy stated that Rodgers did look like a different quarterback after the injury, but that he still gave the team the best chance to win.

"We obviously thought about it long-term there as we discussed his injury," McCarthy said. "But he stuck it out and obviously scored on the scramble. I thought he played smart and didn't really open it up to put himself in jeopardy for future injury [or] further injury.”

Rodgers threw for 418 yards and one touchdown on 28-of-39 passing, but also threw two interceptions, his first interceptions since Week 1.

The Packers enter their bye week at the perfect time as Rodgers will attempt to be healthy by the time Green Bay hosts the Chicago Bears on November 9.
