Yet another NBA superstar is voicing his displeasure with ESPN's player rankings. This time, it's Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant.

Kevin Love Named Senior Editor of Players' Tribune, Writes About 'Exhausting' Offseason

Durant is ranked No. 8 this year in ESPN's list of 500 NBA players, down six spots from his No. 2 ranking last season. Durant is currently sidelined for the beginning of the season after undergoing surgery earlier this month for a Jones fracture in his right foot.

That is an understandable reasoning for his low ranking, and ESPN also said Durant would have been ranked at No. 2 with a near-perfect 9.94 rating had he not suffered the injury. But ESPN writer Royce Webb went on to say in his explanation, "Instead of shooting jumpers, he's shooting selfies." Durant took exception to that statement.

Andrew Wiggins 'Emotionally Tired' According to Minnesota Coach Flip Saunders

"My selfie game been on point and my Jumper ain't never goin nowhere, it's here for life. I'm shooting both at the moment," Durant said in a now-deleted tweet, according to Bleacher Report. His response wasn't nearly as harsh as Kobe Bryant or Nick Young, but he does sound surprised at the ranking.

Durant is expected to miss six to eight weeks while recovering from the Jones fracture, which is a small break at the base of his small toe. He averaged 32 points, 7.4 rebounds and a career-high 5.5 assists and was named the league's MVP last season.

Currently ranked ahead of Durant are Golden State guard Stephen Curry and Cleveland forward Kevin Love, ranked at Nos. 6 and 7, respectively. Also being ranked ahead of him in a yet-to-be-determined order will be NBA superstars Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
