The New England Patriots have been crushed by injuries this season, but the biggest one is how quarterback Tom Brady responds to a "significant" ankle injury he suffered before the Patriots win versus the Buffalo Bills.
According to CSN New England, Brady suffered a "significant" ankle injury in the days prior to the Patriots 37-22 victory and it took an increased amount of therapy to get the New England quarterback ready for Sunday’s game.
New York Giants' Victor Cruz Out for Season
“Two sources told CSNNE.com's Tom Curran that Brady had to be heavily treated just to play Sunday against the Bills, having had his ankle rolled up upon during Friday's practice. He was listed as questionable following that practice prior to the Week 6 game.”
Brady’s status going forward is unknown, but the injury couldn't have come at a worse time for the 37-year-old quarterback. The Patriots don’t have long to rest as they will play the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football this week.
Brady did perform beautifully on Sunday as he finished 27-of-37 passing for 361 yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions as he continued his dominance of the Buffalo Bills throughout his career.

Brady has been placed on the team’s injury report by coach Bill Belichick before, but in the past it has been a mind game to get the opponent to anticipate the Patriots playing without Brady. The Patriots will monitor Brady’s status, but look for him to play on Thursday.
Belichick put Brady on inj report is mind game vs Buf. Players/coaches slightly think he may not go, but he walks on field and it deflates u
