Three-point specialist and future Pro Basketball Hall of Famer Ray Allen will sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to multiple reports on Twitter, the sharpshooter will sign with the Cavaliers in the near future and will join it’s already stellar cast of characters. Allen had been in limbo ever since the end of last season and told teams he wasn't retiring late in the summer.

Allen is now signed up with a team that include LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving and they were already favorites to win the NBA Championship. Allen was being pursued by a laundry list of teams that included the San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat and Washington Wizards.

Allen choosing the Heat shouldn't come as a major surprise seeing how he and LeBron James have grown to be good friends in their time together in Miami. Allen joins James, Love, Shawn Marion and Mike Miller as newcomers to the Cavaliers.
The Heat open up the season against their regular season October 30 against the New York Knicks.
