Magic Johnson and Danny Ferry have met and the NBA Hall of Famer made it clear that the Atlanta Hawks general manager deserves a second chance after a heartfelt apology for his comments about Luol Deng.

Johnson took to Twitter to announce that he and Ferry had met and that the Hawks general manager wanted to apologize for his inflammatory remarks toward Deng. Johnson laid it all out on the table and in the end he said that Ferry was very sincere and that he deserves a second chance in the NBA.

Ferry is on an indefinite leave of absence from the Hawks after the comments and since has been looking to make things right. NBA commissioner Adam Silver said that any investigation has been put on hold in light of Hawks owner Bruce Levenson announcing he will sell the team.

Johnson has also said in the past week that he is not interested in purchasing the Hawks when they become available and that the organization should take a long look at Dominique Wilkins as a high level executive.
