Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still and his family received good news Thursday afternoon on the condition of his daughter, Leah. Doctors told Still that they'd successfully removed a cancerous tumor from the 4-year-old Leah's right adrenal gland at the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.

Still later posted a video on his Instagram account of him getting Leah ready to undergo the surgical procedure.

From the driver's seat of his vehicle, Still asks Leah: "I'm going to ask you again," Still said. "I'm ready for today. Are you ready for today?"

Leah, occupying in the rear passenger seat, smiles and nods in the affirmative.

"You ready to get this cancer up out you?" Still says. This time, Leah's smile is wider as she again nods approvingly. A smiling Still then says: "Let's do it. Fist bump."

He and Leah deliver fist pumps toward the camera.

Leah was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma in June. Still later asked for permission to leave the team to care fully for his daughter. Shortly after granting Still's request, the Bengals cut him, but later placed him on the practice squad, affording him insurance that will help cover the cost of Leah's medical bills.

The cost of her ongoing medical treatment -- chemothearpy, radiation and stem-cell transplants -- is expected to exceed $1 million.
