Comedy Central’s South Park returned for their 18th season Wednesday night and they took the opportunity to attack everything from the Washington Redskins to domestic violence.
The episode took aim at the fact that the Washington Redskins have lost all their trademarks to their name and logo so Cartman, as well as the rest of the South Park crew, took the opportunity to use the name themselves.

The episode hit on the Redskins’ attitude toward changing their name, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell being a ‘robot’ and the league’s recent struggles with domestic violence.
One of the more subtle jokes in the episode was the fact that the creators of the show benched Robert Griffin III as the Redskins quarterback. In the episode’s promo commercial, they showed RGIII with owner Dan Snyder and coach Jay Gruden, but in light of Griffin’s injury they replaced him with Kirk Cousins in the actual episode.
