Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will be a game-time decision for the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Foster is recovering from a hamstring injury that already forced him out of the Texans’ 30-17 loss to the New York Giants, but he will look to return this weekend. Texans coach Bill O’Brien told members of the media that Foster and punter Shane Lechler ‘did some things’ at Wednesday’s practice and both will workout before the game on Sunday to test the injuries.

“I really believe it’s day-to-day with him,” O’Brien said. “And that’s just the way it is. … That’s basically the way it will be here for at least this week.”
If Foster can’t play for the Texans, Houston will start Alfred Blue at running back for the second stright game. Blue rushed for 76 yards on 13 carries against the Giants, but didn't find the end zone in the loss. Foster has battled injuries for some time now and played in only eight games in 2013 before having to succumb to back surgery.
Foster is the No. 15-ranked running back in fantasy for Week 4, according to Fantasy Pros’ consensus rankings. Blue is currently ranked as the No. 34 running back, but would receive a moderate sized boost if Foster were to be inactive.
The 28-year-old Foster had 55 carries for 241 yards and one touchdown for the Texans before injuring his hamstring.
