Belichick spoke to the media Wednesday morning and addressed Gronkowski’s status and said that no final decision has been made, but he respects the tight end’s spirit.

Gronkowski is a two-time Pro Bowler and was an All-Pro for the 2011 season. Since 2011, Gronkowski has been bitten by the injury bug and has only appeared in 18 games over the past two seasons. Gronkowski has 42 career touchdowns in four seasons including a 90 catch, 1,327 yard and 17 touchdown effort in 2011.
