The Open Championship continues Friday morning as golf’s best look to claim the PGA Tour’s next major championship. The usual suspects are in contention such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and many others.

Rory came out scorching hot on the first day as he leads the pack at 6-under 66, but can he continue to set the pace out in England. Rory has been great out the gate all season, but has a serious problem when it comes to closing out tournaments. He spoke about the struggles after his round Thursday and said he will keep up the pace Friday.

"Maybe it's having higher expectations going out on a Friday because you shot a low round," said McIlroy, whose goal now is "to put those expectations aside."

Tiger ended his first round on top with a solid 3-under 69 after being 2-over par through his first two holes. Reigning champion Phil Mickelson didnt have as much success as the other two golfers as he sits at 2-over par after shooting a forgettable 74.
