Dwyane Wade and the Heat have agreed to a two-year worth $34 million deal, with a player option for the 2015-16 season. This comes after Wade opted out of his contract with the Heat in an attempt to resign LeBron James to Miami.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst was the first with the report after Wade had posted on his Instagram account that “Home Is Where The Heart Is... My Home,My City,My House..#HeatLifer.”

Wade has spent his whole eight-year career with the Miami Heat and has three championships with the team. Wade had never really entertained the idea of leaving the Heat, but the Chicago Bulls reached out to him soon after Carmelo Anthony decided that he wasn't leaving the New York Knicks.
Miami Heat president Pat Riley issued a statement concerning Wade last month in which he gave praise to the Heat-lifer.
"Dwyane has been the cornerstone of our organization for over a decade, and we hope he remains a part of the Heat family for life.”
Wade will return to Miami with Chris Bosh along with newcomers Shabazz Napier and Luol Deng. The “Big 3” is no more in Miami, but the Heat have reloaded enough to be competitive in the post-LeBron era.
