Last years Manning Passing Academy yielded quite the story when Johnny Manziel was sent home for oversleeping a morning session, but this year it should be all about business. This year's crop of quarterbacks include Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston and Oregon's Marcus Mariota.
UCLA's Brett Hundley and Baylor's Bryce Petty will also be in attendance as over 1,000 high school quarterbacks will make their way to Thibodaux, Louisiana and will have the opportunity to learn from the best. The Manning family runs the academy and is headed up by Former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and his sons, Peyton and Eli.
Being a senior, Petty is seen as the 2015 NFL Draft’s top quarterback prospect, but Hundley, Winston and Mariota are all draft-eligible underclassman. Mariota is seen as the draft's top prospect if all four quarterbacks declare after the 2014 season.
Florida's Jeff Driskel, Michigan's Devin Gardner, Stanford's Kevin Hogan, USC's Cody Kessler, Utah State's Chuckie Keeton, Oregon State's Sean Mannion, Mississippi State's Dak Prescott, Mississippi's Bo Wallace and Tennessee's Justin Worley round out the 40 plus college quarterbacks who will serve as counselors for the high school players.
