Kevin Love to the Golden State Warriors isn’t as sure as once believed as sources report that the rumored deal between involving Klay Thompson is “dead.”
Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report was the first to report of the deal going sour as it seems the Warriors did not offer enough to the Timberwolves before Thursday’s draft.
Sources: KLove deal to Warriors is dead. Love "unlikely" now to be dealt before draft.

Bucher maintains that is highly unlikely that Love will be traded before Thursday’s NBA Draft, but the idea of a deal during the draft was not out of the question. The Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics are the latest to be mentioned in trades when it comes to Love. Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reports that the Celtics are getting a much better idea of what Minnesota wants.
“The Celtics have to change their offer, last stated as the Nos. 6 and 17 picks next Thursday, Kelly Olynyk and one of their own future first-rounders, or Saunders has to change what he’s looking for.”
At the same time Chad Ford of ESPN is reporting that the Bulls have an offer on the table for Love and they believe it is more than fair.
“The Bulls, who are offering Taj Gibson, Tony Snell plus No. 16 and 19, are the latest suitors.”
Don’t expect any trade involving Love before Thursday and if he is to be moved at all it will most likely involve picks in this draft.
