New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony told ESPNNewYork.com today that he will return Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic. Anthony had missed six of the Knicks' last eight games with a right knee injury, while missing large portions of two of the last three he suited up for.

The Knicks are officially listing Anthony as "probable" for their game against Orlando, but Anthony said after the team's shootaround Wednesday that his knee is pain-free and he's ready to play.

"I feel good as of right now, so I'll be ready to play tonight," Anthony said. "I'm not thinking about my knee. I'm not thinking about anything. I feel good. Now I'm just playing ball at this point."

In the eight games before Anthony sat out of the Knicks' March 6 matchup with the Pistons, he shot just 36.6 percent from the field and made just nine shots on 44 attempts from 3-point range.

The Knicks are 6-7 in games when Anthony is unable to play. Anthony is currently the second leading scorer in the NBA with 27.5 PPG. The Knicks average 4.5 fewer points when Anthony is on the bench.
