Ever since The Ultimate Warrior a.k.a. Jim Hellwig passed away on April 8, there have been many tributes to him and a few people have even dressed like him to pay homage to the WWE Hall of Famer. The latest tribute to him comes from beyond the squared circle and into the octagon as UFC fighter Lorenz Larkin dressed up as The Warrior Friday night.

WWE Botches Sheamus Heel Turn On Monday Night RAW

The Warrior had a tumultuous history with the WWE and such stars as Hulk Hogan and CEO Vince McMahon over the years, but he was able to make amends with them and was honored for all he's done for the wrestling industry in what proved to be the final weekend of his life.

The Warrior was inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5 and then over the next two nights he made his first appearances at WrestleMania and Monday Night RAW in 18 years. On RAW, he conducted a spine-chilling promo about life and death and the legacies WWE legends leave behind, even saying that one day every man breathes their final breath.

Less than 24 hours later, The Warrior collapsed while walking to his car with his family at a hotel in Arizona and eventually passed away in the hospital. It was later reported that The Warrior died of a cardiac episode that stemmed from heart disease. He was 54.

After he passed away, the WWE paid tribute to him by assembling the roster for a 10-bell salute and tribute video to him on the following weeks Monday Night RAW. The WWE then dedicated "Warrior Week" to his memory on the WWE Network, where they aired a series of specials and retrospectives that included cameras following him around during his Hall of Fame weekend in New Orleans.

There have been many tributes to him outside of the WWE, including in Major League Baseball, and Larkin is the latest person outside of the realm of the WWE to honor the fallen wrestling legend and Hall of Famer.
