Premier League club Chelsea could see a cost-effective boost to their frontline.
The club is reportedly in advanced talks to sign 18-year-old striker Marc Guiu from Spanish club FC Barcelona.
The Blues are planning to activate his measly €6 million ($6.4 million) release clause amid interest from other European clubs, such as Bayern Munich and fellow La Liga side Sevilla.
Guiu is another talented product of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy. British outlet The Guardian named him one of the best players born in 2006 worldwide.

Meanwhile, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona has not given positive feedback regarding the new deal proposal.
If Guiu decides to join Chelsea, Barcelona will not be able to prevent him from moving to England once the London-based club activates the release clause.
Marc Guiu made Barcelona history in senior debut
The Spanish forward has been remarkably efficient for Barcelona every time Xavi Hernandez has called him up to the senior team.
Guiu has scored two goals in three appearances, including a historic one in his debut.
A club academy member since 2013, Guiu debuted for the Barcelona senior team during a La Liga home game against Athletic Club on October 22, 2023.
He scored a goal on his first touch just 23 seconds after stepping onto the pitch to give Barcelona a 1-0 win, becoming the youngest and fastest debutant to score for the Spanish giants.
