Discovering the Evolutionary Phase of the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse

General Motors Corporations (GMC) have been busy tinkering with some of its SUV units lately. The Detroit-based auto manufacturing company is seeking to adapt its vehicles to the lifestyles of potential purchasers.

On a first blink, America's number one car maker intends to reduce the size of the GMC Acadia SUV. However, it has other plans when it comes to upgrading the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse.

It remains uncertain as to what direction will GMC pursue with the Traverse. While the upgrades and enhancements are basically the new trend in the auto industry, most firms are looking to bring out smaller to midsize vehicles.

As it turns out, the image of the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse mirrors the frame of the Tahoe. In other words, the Acadia's complementary car has been blown to provide extra space for passengers and cargos.

One notable form that is easy to notice is the Traverse's boxed-patterned approach to the hood and the rest of the main build. This part of the SUV is squarer than its predecessors.

In addition, a bulkier grille is in place. Lining up along this portion are the chrome accents. Slender headlights and taillights round up the vehicle's front outlook.

The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse introduces a couple of distinctive models. The Redline brand offers a sporty image through the presence of the blacked-out bow tie crest. Meanwhile, the High Country line presents a number of bling elements.

Inside the Traverse, the infotainment screens become bigger as manifested by their 7 or 8-inch frames. Considering that touch control has been integrated, the buttons and the knobs are gone.

There is now more room underneath the central display of the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. The second-row seats can be split-folded which makes it easier for passengers to enter the third row.

This procedure replaces the preceding Smart Slide process seen in previous car models. In addition, the pavement seat will slide forward even if the space is occupied by a child thus providing enough room to allow people to pass through and occupy the back seats.
