NBA News: Jeremy Lin Finally Fit To Play; Brooklyn Nets Not Rushing Him To Produce Quickly

Jeremy Lin's return to the Nets is something that Brooklyn to boost its campaign during the second half of the NBA season. Though they are cautious of Lin's recovery from his two hamstring injuries, they see to it that they are taking it slow with the former Harvard star until he finally regained his deadly self.

"Jeremy looked good today, and I'd expect his minutes to increase," Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said of Lin from the reports from Newsday. The 6-foot-3 Jeremy Lin played two back-to-back road games after declaring himself fit to play against the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors.

Looking at the statistics from ESPN, the 28-year old Jeremy Lin had 7 points, 2 boards and 5 assists in 15 minutes of play in their 129-109 loss in Denver. He followed it up with 9 markers, 2 dimes and 1 steal in 15 minutes on the floor in their 112-95 loss at the Bay Area.

"I feel really good right now," Jeremy Lin said about his condition on the same Newsday article, "I'm just getting more confident with my body. I'm pretty much ready to jump into it, and I feel like I've had enough reps for myself to have the rhythm I need."

The Nets are currently at the bottom of the standings, winning only 9 of their 58 games this season. Brook Lopez has been leading his team in point production with 20.5 points and also doing his share in the defensive end, norming team-high 1.8 blocks per game.
