The Undertaker who has always been the face of WWE in Wrestlemania is uncertain for this year. Reports have told that The Undertaker was hurt very badly at the Royal Rumble last Sunday. The Undertaker was in for 8 minutes and 46 seconds inside the ring before he was eliminated by the surprise entrant Roman Reigns as reported in The Sportster.
"So Undertaker, he was hurting real bad last night," said pro-wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio and further added, "I mean you could look at him and you could see that he wasn't in shape, and you know, it's the hip."
This was Undertaker's first match in which he was actually fighting in the ring after last year's Wrestlemania 32 where he was in a match against Shane McMahon. Also, he had undergone a hip surgery last year which let him on the crutches the whole summer.
According to Meltzer who is a well-known journalist that The Undertaker has still two months left with him before the Wrestlemania. He should have taken some more rest before coming to the ring as reported in FanBuzz.
Undertaker is expected to be fighting against Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania at Orlando but this injury might not allow the 51-year-old to do so. But the WWE might want this fight to happen as The Undertaker's match always pulls more viewers. The Undertaker's match is always slower and very methodical these days looking at his age.
The Phenom who is very well-known for his longest running streak of 21 straight wins at WWE's leading pay-per-view show Wrestlemania. He lost his first Wrestlemania match to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania XXX.
This year's Wrestlemania will take place on April 2, 2017, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The fans would be waiting for the lights to go off one more time and smoke coming from the entrance with the Deadman's song.
