After a busy offseason that has thus far seen Angel Reyna and Fernando Arce transfer over, Chivas Guadalajara is keen on returning one of their own to Estadio Omnilife. Club president Juan Manuel Herrero has reported (via Medio Tiempo) that there has been significant progress in negotiations with goalkeeper Luis Ernesto Michel.
