Frank Thomas tells TMZ Sports he doesn't believe disgraced and suspended New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez will ever be elected to the Hall of Fame.
Thomas, who will be inducted into the Hall as part of the class of 2014, added he feels Rodriguez's repeated use of banned substance including steroids, has destroyed his ability to be enshrined.
Rodriguez is currently suspended for the entire 2014 season stemming from his involvement with the still ongoing Biogenesis probe. After fighting against serving any penalty or suspension, Rodriguez recently agreed to take the year-long suspension.
As for Thomas, the man known throughout his career as the Big Hurt,he told TMZ he is currently working on his Hall of Fame speech and can't wait to be inducted by his 21-year-old son, known as The Little Hurt.
Over 18 MLB seasons, 15 of them with the White Sox, Thomas smashed 521 homers and drove in 1,704 runs. He was also a career .301 hitter with 2,468 hits. The 45-year-old slugger is also a five-time All-Star and four-time Silver Slugger winner. In addition to the Sox, Thomas also played for A's, and Blue Jays.
