Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter seems at peace with his decision to leave the game of baseball after this season, citing other personal goals he'd like to go after. "Yeah, I have feelings,'' Jeter said Wednesday about leaving the game but remaining stoic. "I'm not emotionally stunted. There are feelings there.

"You can't do this forever. I'd like to," Jeter said. "There's some things I look forward to doing. I want to have a family." Jeter's never shown any inclination of wanting to settle down, racking up a laundry list of celebrity beauties.

The most recent of those starlets was Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and DirecTV genie Hannah Davis, 23. While most fans of Davis and subscribers to Sports Illustrated might disagree, Davis has expressed doubt about stacking up to some of her counterparts. I'm looking for a bubble butt that I don't have," Davis said. "I work with what I got, which is a lot of arching of the back and boobs forward. There's a lot that goes into these pictures."

Jeter seems to like it well enough. The pair split a few months ago, with the news going public shortly before the swimsuit issue's release. Sources close to the couple said it has been a pattern of Jeter's to part ways with the high-profile women when their status hits certain peaks.

"Derek likes to keep his relationships quiet. In the past, when his girlfriends become famous and start doing sexy shoots, that's when they break up. Exactly the same thing happened with Minka and Vanessa Minnillo," a source told Page Six when their breakup hit the newswire.

The New York Post says that they are getting back together though, perhaps because of a combination of Jeter's desire for a family, and his inevitable recession from the spotlight after the 2014 season.
