Richie Incognito Jonathan Martin bullying scandal [VIDEO]: Incognito returns to Twitter to apologize to Martin days after meltdown on social media

Following a hiatus from Twitter after a meltdown last Wednesday on the social media site, Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito returned to Twitter on Monday before apologizing to former teammate Jonathan Martin on Tuesday morning following his outburst on the site after a report from an independent investigator on the team's locker room situation was released.

Incognito returned to Twitter after deleting his account Friday and tweeted, "What's up Twitter, Happy Monday."

He then took to the social media site on Tuesday to apologize to Martin, who he was accused of bullying during their time together with the team, which led to Martin leaving the team.

"I would like to send Jonathan my apologies as well. Until someone tells me different you are still my brother. No hard feelings :)," Incognito tweeted from his official @68INCOGNITO twitter account.

These words were much different than the ones he typed last week when he defamed Martin and even shared a story about how Martin once said he wanted to kill himself for playing poorly. Incognito also said that "the truth will bury you," to Martin on the site.

After his greeting on Monday, Incognito--who was suspended from the Dolphins on Nov. 3 for his actions against Martin and was depicted as a bully in attorney Ted Wells' report that revealed the horrid environment in the Dolphins locker room--took to Twitter and apologized for being a "big baby." "I apologize for acting like a big baby the last few days. This has all been so much on me and my family. I just want to play football," he tweeted. "I want everyone to know I'm in good spirits and looking forward to playing again one day."

Wells released his report on the Dolphins and found that Incognito was one of three Miami players who harassed Martin and bullied him in the workplace. According to ESPN, the NFL had no comment on if there will be further punishment while the NFL Players' Association is looking into the findings of the investigation.

Incognito, due to be a free agent in March, once again went on Twitter to comment about the 144-page report that Wells handed down.

"You could not define me in 144 years let alone 144 pages Mr. Wells. Thank you for your hard work and dedication."

He then appeared to say goodbye to Twitter.

"Goodbye twitter. Be well See you on the other side," he tweeted.

Incognito has since returned to Twitter showing that he won't soon escape from social media, much like the NFL hasn't been able to escape from the bullying scandal making headlines for the last four months.
