The mother of Miami Heat star Chris Bosh's five-year-old child has filed for bankruptcy and contends it's his fault because he pays her less than $3,000 a month in child support.
According to RadarOnline, Allison Mathis recently filed for Chapter 13 protection in Florida, continuing a legal battle she and Bosh have waged for years over custody and financial arrangements for the child.
A perennial All-Star, Bosh is in the midst of a deal with the Heat that pays him $109 million, while Mathis claims she has approximately $320, 446 in assets but owes at least $286,946 to creditors.
Radar adds documents also reveal Mathis' pegs her monthly expenses at $1,615 on income of $3,985. She also alleges she only has $1,250 in her checking account and savings of $18,000. Mathis also reports she has furniture and jewelry valued at $3,700 and owns a 2007 BMW worth $15,000.
The website also reports Mathis claims she still owes $284,000 on her Windermere, Florida home, but only earns $800 a month to go with the nearly $2,700 in month support she receives from Bosh.
According to Radar, Bosh previously sued Mathis for appearing on the reality show Basketball Wives. A judge later threw out his petition, but Mathis was later cut from the show and claimed Bosh's legal actions were the reason why.
