An Eastern Conference executive is reacting to Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Kevin Love's recent lashing out at teammates by insisting the struggling squad "should trade him."

According to CBSNews.com, the unnamed front office exec added 'no one thinks he's staying. Everyone knows he wants to go to the Lakers."

With the Wolves now under .500 (17-18) and 0-10 in games decided by four points or less, Love angrily reacted to teammates J.J. Barea and Dante Cunningham remaining on the bench during a fourth quarter timeout in the Wolves latest buzzer-beating loss to Phoenix on Wednesday.

"We can't have two guys sitting at the end of the bench, who play good minutes, just sitting there and not getting up at timeouts," Love told reporters following the game. "We all need to be in this together."

Now in his sixth season with Minnesota, Love's patience appears to be growing thinner by the day as, despite his dominant numbers, his Wolves have yet to reach the playoffs. The team's highest win total since drafting Love fifth overall in 2008 was 31 last season.

Love can opt out of his current four-year deal in 2015 and, more and more, the smart money seems to indicate he might be leaning toward returning to his L.A. roots.

"That kind of pisses me off," Love said earlier this week of his team's latest meltdown and his teammates infuriating behavior "We all need to be in this together. We're supposed to be a team."
