Oklahoma City star forward Kevin Durant and his WNBA fiancee are rumored to be taking a "break" from one another and their high-profile relationship.

According to JackandStilletoJill.com, Minnesota Lynx star Monica Wright hasn't been wearing her engagement ring since returning from playing overseas and she and Durant spent both Christmas and New Year's Eve away from one another, with him being spotted clubbing in New York and Oklahoma City.

"I can lie to myself all day and night about something but it ain't long before God reveals the truth," Wright, who returned earlier this month from Korea due to an undisclosed family emergency, recently posted on Instagram. "And let's be real... It don;t be pretty."

Wright later added "I swear, some stuff just don't taste the same no more... prolly cuz it's DEAD."

Durant and Wright announced their engagement in early July and the NBA star was seen throughout the summer sitting in the front of many of her WNBA games.

"I like women's basketball," a blushing Durant once told reporters inquiring if he was in attendance to see a specific player.

Wright averaged 10 points and three assists in last season and during her senior year at Virginia was named ACC Player of the Year, ACC Defensive Player of the Year and National Defensive Player of the Year.
