As news of her NBA fiancee Dwyane Wade fathering a child with another woman spreads, Gabrielle Union is admonishing all her critics not to judge her, but instead strive to work on themselves.

Several media outlets reported this week that Wade is the father of a newborn son he had with a woman described as a friend he became intimate while he and Union were on a "break" in their longtime relationship. The two have since patched up their union and recently announced they plan to wed sometime in September.

"The goal is not perfection, the goal is to be whole," Union wrote on Twitter in apparent response to all those who have openly wondered how she has managed to stay with the Miami Heat star. "That you complete me mess is total crap. Work on yourself. Become whole, healthy & happy& watch that happens. #LoveAndLight.

Union also later tweeted "if you unhappy/angry/resentful with your life, before u point the finger & place blame/shame on others, look at yourself. we control our own destiny. Work on me has gotten me much further than obsessing/criticizing/judging other folks. You never lose when You work on yourself."

Wade, who already has sole custody of his two young sons from his first marriage to Siohvaughn Funches recently met his son for the first time several media outlets have reported.
