Philadelphia Eagles fans took their celebrations to the next level on Sunday night after their team dominated the Kansas City Chiefs with a 40-22 thrashing in the Super Bowl.
The streets of Philadelphia turned into a scene of pure mayhem as fans flooded the city, setting fires, stealing street signs, and even torching a Kermit the Frog stuffed animal in a direct jab at Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Eagles Fans Lit Kermit Doll to Taunt Mahomes
TMZ Sports reports that there's a viral video circulating on social media. The short clip captured the moment a group of rowdy Eagles fans lit a Kermit the Frog doll on fire while chanting profanities directed at the Chiefs.

The gesture was a pointed mockery of the 29-year-old QB, who has long been teased for his distinctive voice, which critics often compare to the famous Muppet character.
Patrick Mahome indeed struggled during Super Bowl LIX. He couldn't penetrate the Eagles' defense, not to mention that he only managed to throw two interceptions.
The burning of the Kermit doll was a clear message from Eagles fans that they were reveling in their victory at his expense.
Kermit Chant Doesn't Sit Well With Mahomes' Wife
The teasing of Mahomes for his voice is nothing new. Last month, Buffalo Bills fans took things to another level when they hung a Kermit puppet dressed as Mahomes outside their stadium.
According to People, the incident made headlines, and after the Chiefs eliminated the Bills in the AFC Championship game, Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, called out Bills fans, hoping they would "become better people."
Given the latest antics from Philadelphia fans, Brittany Mahomes may have another fanbase to direct her frustrations toward. She said that some people are "going too far" with her husband.
Riots, Looting, and Street Clashes Erupt in Philly
Beyond the Kermit-burning spectacle, the streets of Philadelphia saw widespread chaos following the Super Bowl win.
Fans climbed light poles, stole street signs, engaged in scuffles with police, and even looted stores. The city, known for its passionate sports culture, witnessed celebrations that quickly spiraled into lawlessness.
Police were deployed across the city in an attempt to control the escalating situation, but as seen in past Philadelphia sports victories, containing the excitement proved to be a challenge.
While some fans are taunting each other even at this moment, others think that boycotting the Super Bowl 2025 was a better choice.
