Fans looking forward to seeing IShowSpeed step back into a WWE ring are in for a disappointment. The viral streamer has officially called it quits after his painful Royal Rumble experience.
Despite his popularity in the wrestling world, Speed revealed on a recent livestream that he has no plans to return, citing serious injuries from his latest appearance.
IShowSpeed Does Not See Himself Returning to WWE Ring
In a "Fortnite" stream with fellow internet celebrity Kai Cenat, the 20-year-old streamer quashed any talk of returning to the squared circle. According to TMZ Sports, Cenat joked about a potential matchup between Speed and WWE's Logan Paul. But Speed would have none of that.
"I'm not coming back to WWE," Speed said. "I broke my damn neck. And I messed my ribcage up. I couldn't walk for two days."
He is referring to the injury he suffered at the hands of WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker, who showed him no mercy with a vicious spear that visibly left Speed shaking.
From the looks of it, iShowSpeed did not enjoy receiving a surprise spear. Now the answer is crystal clear: he wouldn't come back to WWE anytime soon.

WWE's Biggest Viral Moment—But at What Cost?
Though Speed may have gone out battered, his appearance at the Royal Rumble was an enormous success for WWE. The segment he cut became the most-watched social media post in Royal Rumble history, amassing an eye-popping 300 million views within 24 hours.
This is not the first time Speed has gone viral because of his involvement with WWE. At WrestleMania 39, he surprised everyone by showing up and receiving a crushing RKO from Randy Orton—a brutal moment that solidified him as one of the favorite celebrity guests.
iShowSpeed was also the internet star who visited the Philippines in September. He became viral when he collapsed after a KO punch from none other than boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
Is This Really the End for Speed in WWE?
While Speed's declaration seemed definitive, wrestling fans know that in WWE, anything can happen. That he also generated enormous buzz makes him a valuable member of the company. With his passion for entertainment, it would not be a great surprise if Speed found himself back in a WWE ring, even if it might not be as an active competitor.
Logan Paul, a fellow internet personality-turned-wrestler, was impressed by iShowSpeed. Speaking to IMPAULSIVE, he said Speed should get his revenge after receiving a serious beating more than once.
