'This is a hate crime': Internet loses it over Olympic breakdancing debut

A new sport made its debut at the Olympics on Friday, it's called 'Breaking,' otherwise known as breakdancing, and the Internet has many mixed emotions about it.

According to the official Olympic page for breaking, the sport includes a "B-boys" and "B-girls" event, each showcasing athletes' power moves, personal styles and their ability to improvise to music. Judges will score baed on six key areas: creativity, personality, technique, variety, performativity and musicality.

Snoop Dogg was there to open the event on Friday, and viewers were quick to notice his reactions to watching the breakers, suggesting he found it just as hilarious as the rest of the Internet, which was full of commentary on both the incredible flips and peculiar flops by contestants.
