Fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers will find the first few minutes of the MLB All-Star Game 2024 satisfying, as three of their players have earned spots in the starting lineup.
The MLB All-Star 2024 initial voting results are out, and three Dodgers have made the list. Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Teoscar Hernandez were among the top vote-getters from the initial phase, which ran from June 5 to June 27.
This means they will all advance to the next voting phase as finalists.

Ohtani is currently at the top of voting for designated hitters for the National League with 2,777,173 votes. Next to him is Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Shotime's teammate Teoscar Hernández joins Nick Castellanos, Brandon Marsh, Jurickson Profar, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Christian Yelich as finalists for the outfield position in the NL.
Betts, meanwhile, is the NL's top vote-getter among shortstops, edging Trea Turner of the Philadelphia Phillies.
All these three Dodgers have been playing great this season.
Ohtani remains an MVP candidate in his first year with his new team, where he momentarily skips being a pitcher and plays as a designated hitter.
He has a legitimate shot to get a Triple Crown record as he is currently ranked first in the NL in average (.322) and homers (25) and a close third in RBIs (61).
Hernandez signed for just one year as a Dodger, and he is making the most of it, with 18 home runs in his first 80 games.
Betts is just as reliable as in past seasons, posting .304 with 10 homers, 40 RBIs, 50 runs scored, and a .892 OPS this year. However, his status for the All-Star Game and voting are not locked yet after he suffered an injury on June 15.
MLB All-Star 2024 Voting Leaders
Dodgers were expected to dominate the All-Star voting with their superteam, but the ones who emerged as the most popular among fans were New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge and Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper.
The former rules the American League with 3,425,309 votes, while the latter owns the National League with 3,277,920 votes.
Both players earned the starting spot in the All-Star Game for topping the initial poll, while others will continue vying for spots in the second phase.
This is the second time in three years that Judge topped the All-Star voting results in three years, only the 11th player to do it multiple times in the league's history.
Harper, who got injured in Thursday's loss to the Miami Marlins, is the first Phillies player to win the fan vote at the first base position. He had already made the All-Star eight times, seven as a starter, but his positions were that of outfielder and designated hitter.
MLB All-Star Voting 2024 Format
The MLB 2024 All-Star Game, to be played on July 16 at Texas Rangers' Globe Life Field, will continue the selection of deserving players.
Only 32 players will make the cut: 20 position players and 12 pitchers. Those who are selected will receive $640,000 in a bonus pool.
The second phase has a shorter window from June 30 to July 3.
Fans can support their favorite players through MLB.com, the MLB mobile app, or all MLB teams' ballparks.
This year's designated managers for the All-Star Game are Bruce Bochy of the defending champs Texas and Torey Lovullo of last season's finalist Arizona Diamondbacks.
