Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce recalled an instance during the podcast New Heights with his brother and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce when he "felt emasculated" for the first time in his life.
The 36-year-old shared a story about meeting British throne heir apparent Prince William and his children during Travis' girlfriend Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tours" concert at London's Wembley Stadium this month.
"They specified that because we weren't like at, like, an official royal event, we didn't need to bow or curtsy. But I did still address him as 'Your Royal Highness. I've never felt emasculated, and I did, That was the closest I've ever been," Jason initially said while laughing.
The three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end added that Jason showed unprecedented respect to the 42-year-old royal.
"I've never seen you show someone that much respect. You put your beer like 10 feet away from you," Travis responded.
Jason Kelce points out the highlight of meeting Prince William
Despite meeting the likely future King of England, Jason pointed out that the highlight of the meeting was not Prince William himself.
"Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte. She was so f**king adorable.. maybe it's because I have three girls now. She had a fire to her, she was asking questions... that was the most electric part [of the meeting]," the six-time First Team All-Pro selection declared.
Princess Charlotte is the nine-year-old second child and only daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton. She attended Swift's concert alongside her father and older brother, Prince George.
