Lamine Yamal is a revelation in the ongoing Euro 2024.
The fact that he is only 16 years old makes his performance even more impressive.
His being only 16 years old could also be why the Spanish Football Association could get in trouble in Germany.
German youth protection law states people under 18 cannot work after 8 P.M.

However, there are exceptions for the sports industry. Underage athletes are allowed to play until 11 P.M., and they should be done with other responsibilities by then, including showering and media duties.
German authorities have yet to release a report, but Yamal did play a late game against Albania that kicked off at 9:00 P.M.
Spain is the only team in the competition with a player under 18.
What will be the punishment for Spain?
Spain is through to the next round of Euro 2024 as the number one team in Group B after beating Albania in their last assignment.
There is a chance that they will again play a late match.
German news publication Bild reported that the Royal Spanish Football Federation is confident they will not get punished heavily for the Yamal situation.
They are, however, ready to take a huge fine for the German law violation.
It is not expected that they will rest Yamal in the knockout rounds. They had the chance to do that in their last match since they were already assured of a Round of 16 spot after winning their first two.
