Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown may have gained new hardware with an NBA championship and Finals MVP, but he also lost a significant piece of personal hardware during their championship parade last Friday, June 21.
The 27-year-old took to social media to appeal to anyone who has found his ring, posting a picture of the prized possession.
"Big reward for whoever finds this ring lost it at the parade if you find it [let me know] please." The three-time NBA All-Star posted on Instagram Stories.
The lost ring features the wordmark "7uice," on its face in the center, surrounded by diamonds. 7uice is Brown's sportswear brand.
"Reward for whoever finds this ring lost it at the parade," the 2024 NBA Finals MVP posted on a follow-up Instagram Story with a close-up detail of the jewelry.
The exact amount of Brown's reward is unknown.
Jaylen Brown will get a new ring
If Brown fails to retrieve his "7uice" ring, he should be set to get another one, as the Celtics are expected to receive their championship rings at the start of the 2024-25 NBA season.
Replacing it would not be a problem either, as he is set to enter the first year of the NBA-record five-year, $304 million contract he signed last year, which is the largest contract in league history.
Brown won the 2024 NBA Finals MVP after averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.6 steals in the 2024 NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks in five games.
