There's no greater feeling than playing for your hometown, but for Andy Murray, the chances of him getting cheered on by his British fellows are dwindling.
Murray, a Three-time Grand Slam winner, should be competing in the Wimbledon Open 2024 in London, but fans are holding their breath following news of his injury.
The 37-year-old star revealed that he is set to undergo surgery for his injured back, which he suffered during his appearance at the Queen's Club.

He suffered the injury while playing Jordan Thompson in the second round and was forced to withdraw because of the pain.
"Andy is having a procedure on his back tomorrow. We will know more after this has taken place and will update further as soon as possible," his management said in a statement.
Murray is a hometown hero at Wimbledon and has won the men's singles twice in his career.
Injury like no other
Murray is no stranger to injuries, and he endured a lot on his way to becoming one of the most legendary players of all time.
However, the one he is dealing with now feels different. He said that his injuries were mostly on the left side of his body.
"I have never had too many issues with the right side. So maybe there is something that can be done between now and then to help the right side," he said.
Wimbledon Open 2024 will commence on July 1 and end on July 14.
