The Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up for a bounce-back season in 2024.

Two key team players have already started working out together outside the team's official schedule of offseason programs and five weeks before the team's training camp begins.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts and new free agent signing running back Saquon Barkley are already getting acclimated and building chemistry, which is a good sign for Eagles fans.

The team just finished their organized team activities from last May and their mandatory three-day minicamp from June 4 to 6.

The Eagles' training camp will not start until July 23 for both rookies and veterans.

Eagles get huge boost in Saquon Barkley

The Eagles made a massive move in free agency by signing 2018 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Saquon Barkley last March.

The 27-year-old star inked a three-year deal worth $37.75 million, which could be worth up to $46.75 million. The deal includes $26 million fully guaranteed.

Barkley has spent his entire career with the New York Giants since 2018, and he is aiming to boost an Eagles team that endured a disappointing 2023 season.

After starting the 2023 season with a 10-1 record, Philadelphia subsequently collapsed by losing five of its last six regular-season games. It was then eliminated in the Wild Card Round in a blowout 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
