The Boston Celtics had a lot of time on their hands after securing a berth in the 2024 NBA Finals and playing the series' opening game.
The team had a 10-day gap between their series-clinching Game 4 victory against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals and Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.
During this extended break, Celtics star Jaylen Brown revealed how he spent his time, immersing himself in a popular media franchise.
"A lot of our guys probably spend time with their family and stuff like that, but I don't have a family. I'm single. So I've been binge-watching Harry Potter," the 27-year-old said.

Despite the extended break, Brown displayed no signs of rust in Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals last Thursday, June 6, at the TD Garden in Boston.
The 2024 Eastern Conference Finals MVP put up 22 points, six rebounds, two assists, three steals, and three blocks as the Celtics defeated the Mavericks 107-89 to draw first blood.

When questioned about which Harry Potter characters resonate with him the most, Brown cited Dumbledore and Hermione.
The three-time NBA All-Star then explained his choice of Hermoine in detail.
"[Hermoine is] also the one that just keeps everybody on track. She's the one that gets stuff done. That's me. Like, 'We gotta get this done.' I'm not waiting 'til the last minute. You got an assignment? We gonna get it done first day. We not gonna wait 'til the last minute."
