Kylian Mbappe's dream of winning a European trophy can happen without him enduring a long season after his much-awaited debut for Real Madrid has been confirmed.

The French forward, introduced Monday as the Spanish giants' newest signing, will debut at the UEFA Super Cup.

This means that he only needs one game to be able to lift a European title.

Spanish reports revealed that he will officially wear a Real Madrid jersey in a competitive match when they face Atalanta on August 14 for the UEFA Super Cup.

The match, held annually before the official commencement of domestic leagues, pits clubs that won the Champions League and the Europa League.

Kylian Mbappe stadium introduction still unknown

The offseason will be a busy one for the 25-year-old superstar.

He is set to represent France for the Euro 2024 in Germany. The competition will run from June 14 to June 24.

If Les Bleus reach the semi-finals, then his pre-season debut might be delayed, too.

Real Madrid's pre-season assignments include a U.S. tour against AC Milan on July 31, Barcelona on August 3, and Chelsea on August 6.

The date for the player introduction will also be affected.

The most probable date for his player introduction at Bernabeu is July 15 or 16.

Mbappe's signing is regarded as one of the largest in the history of Europe's most historic club.

He finished his last season with PSG as a Ligue 1 winner, although they failed in the UCL, reaching only the semi-finals.
