The Indiana Pacers may face additional challenges as they move forward with their Eastern Conference Finals playoff series against the Boston Celtics.

After losing the first two games, the team could go into Game 3 without their best player.

Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is questionable to play in Game 3 due to a left hamstring injury that remains sore, the team listed on their injury report.

The 24-year-old exited Game 2 with less than four minutes left in the third quarter after taking a wrong step and grimacing in pain. He had already felt something on his hamstring in the first half and spent halftime undergoing treatment.

Haliburton was unable to return to action for the evening as the Pacers lost the contest, 126-110, last Thursday, May 23, at the TD Garden in Boston.

Before his untimely exit, the point guard had 10 points, eight assists, four rebounds, one steal, and zero turnovers.

Game 3 of the series is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton Injury Status

Although the exact definitions of these injury designations are not officially set, they generally follow specific patterns.

A "questionable" designation indicates a 50/50 chance of playing, meaning Haliburton's status may not be confirmed until tipoff.

On the other hand, a "probable" designation suggests a roughly 75 percent chance of playing, usually indicating a minor ailment affecting the player.
