"It was definitely a nice round of golf."
This is how Scottie Scheffler summed up his Friday.
While those words seem nonchalant in nature, there's more to it rather than him having just another day at the office.
Golf fans were stunned earlier in the day when Scheffler was seen getting arrested by the police.

He was handcuffed, booked for a mugshot, wore an orange shirt, was jailed, and was eventually released in a span of hours.
It was later found out that he was arrested for a pedestrian fatality investigation.
It must be clarified though that he was not the one who run over the victim and only tried to get around the accident site.
He was able to return just in time for the PGA Championship where he is playing as a no. 1 ranked player.
He posted another 5-under 66 during his tee time to climb the leader and remain in the mix for a second straight major championship.
Scheffler himself found it hard to explain what went down.
"I definitely never imagined ever going to jail, and I definitely never imagined going to jail the morning before one of my tee times for sure," he said after the game.
"I was grateful to be able to go out there and compete and yeah, it was definitely a nice round of golf."
As for his case, he refuses to comment for now as it is already under investigation.
Fatal crash victim identified, Scheffler charges revealed
Scheffler was able to go on with his life but the victim of the accident was not.
The deceased was identified as John Mill, a vendor at the PGA tournament.
Another officer was hurt after he was allegedly dragged by Scheffler's car after he refused to stop to acknowledge the accident.
The golf star was booked for third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic.
His attorney Steve Romines described the situation as a misunderstanding.
"The main thing is he was proceeding exactly as he was directed in a marked vehicle with credentials," Romines said. "He didn't do anything intentionally wrong."
