Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark talked about her relationship with New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu.

The 22-year-old fondly shared good memories with her, including Ionescu reaching out to her throughout her college career to congratulate her on many of her achievements at Iowa.

"She was definitely somebody I loved watching and, obviously, Oregon recruited me. So when I went on my visit there, Sabrina was around the whole time and you just got to see how genuine of a person she was on top of being the best basketball player in America," Clark told the media in the pre-game press conference ahead of the Fever-Liberty game.

The former Hawkeyes star wanted to replicate Ionescu's achievements at Oregon during her time at Iowa.

Clark also complimented her highly popular Nike signature shoe, which she is also set to receive one soon.

"And her shoe is pretty comfortable, I will say that too," the NCAA's all-time leading scorer quipped.
