Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who announced his retirement last March, will have something to keep him busy in his post-playing days.

The 36-year-old will join ESPN on a multi-year deal, serving as an analyst for the sports network's coverage of the NFL.

Kelce will specifically appear on Monday Night Countdown each week from 6 to 8 p.m. ET, leading into Monday Night Football throughout the regular season, as well as ESPN's Super Wild Card and Divisional Round playoff games, according to a statement released by the network.

"Turns out, it was a short retirement! I'm excited to join ESPN, and particularly the Monday Night Countdown team," the six-time First Team All-Pro said.

The Eagles icon will also be part of ESPN and ABC's Super Bowl LXI (61) coverage in Los Angeles at the SoFi Stadium in 2027.

Jason Kelce has visited the Eagles facility 'every day'

Kelce appears to have found it difficult to break old habits during the first month of his post-playing career.

Eagles placekicker Jake Elliott mentioned that despite his retirement, Kelce has been present at the Eagles' facility almost every day.

"[Kelce and Fletcher Cox] made a huge impact that's going to last a long time and those guys aren't going to be far. I know Kelce's been in the building almost every day already, so, they're always going to be a big part of our organization," the 29-year-old said.
