The Minnesota Timberwolves have stumbled after their hot start in their Western Conference semifinals series against the Denver Nuggets, allowing the NBA champions to tie the series at 2-2 after losing Game 4, 115-107, at their home floor in the Target Center on Sunday, May 12.
Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards initially expressed frustration over the three-day break they had after winning the first two games of the series on Denver's home floor, suggesting it was the reason they came out sluggish in Game 3.
Despite the series being level, the 22-year-old believes that the Nuggets have not gained any momentum. The two teams have the same number of wins away from the Western Conference Finals.
"I don't think they got any momentum. We won two games, they won two games. At this point, it's just whoever wins two games... I'm happy, we're competing at the highest level... If we played tomorrow, I'd be ready," the two-time NBA All-Star told the media in the post-game conference.

This time, the two teams will only have a one-day break, as the pivotal Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, at the Ball Arena in Denver.
Anthony Edwards was the lone bright spot in Timberwolves loss
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was seemingly the only player to show up for the Timberwolves in Game 4.
Edwards was the sole Wolves player to score more than 20 points, finishing with 44 points on 16-of-25 shooting. He also added five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block.
The next Wolves player with the highest point output was center Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 13 points on a dismal 5-of-18 shooting.
