Wedding bells are set for Giannis Antetokounmpo and girlfriend Mariah Riddlesprigger.
The couple first announced their wedding plans in September last year, and now they have a date and a short list of guests.
Greek media outfit NewsIT reported that the couple started planning their wedding after their engagement in September 2023.
The ceremony will be held on August 31, which is expected to be lavish.
The events leading to the wedding ceremony will be held in different parts of Greece, Antetokounmpo's hometown.
It won't be called "lavish" without high-profile guests.
NewsIT shared that Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is among those expected to grace the event.
"In terms of guests, the number is expected to be... big! The latest information states that the great NBA star LeBron James has already accepted the invitation and will travel to Greece for the wedding of the year," the news site wrote in its May 8 edition.
The couple discreetly confirmed their engagement in September last year.
"Soon [I'm going] to be married to this beautiful woman next to me," Giannis said during a press conference for their volunteer work for Milwaukee Diaper Mission.
Since getting together in 2016, they have had two sons and one daughter-Liam, Maverick, and Eva.
