The New York Knicks are on the brink of advancing to the second round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs following their 97-92 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday, April 29, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
This victory has given the Knicks a commanding 3-1 series lead, much to the delight of ESPN analyst and notable team supporter Stephen A. Smith.
"Three down! Three down! One to go! Yeah!!" the television personality enthusiastically screamed while taking a portrait selfie video of himself, which he posted on his account on X, formerly Twitter, after the game.
The 56-year-old has openly and consistently expressed his enduring passion for the Knicks over the years on his shows.

Smith's open support for the Knicks has drawn criticism from some, including New York journalist Bob Raissman, who suggested that it might damage ESPN's credibility.
Knicks fans take over Sixers home game
Philadelphia fans are renowned as one of the most passionate fan bases in the country, but their presence was notably lacking during Game 4.
There were instances where the crowd in Philly booed the Sixers and noticeably cheered on a missed free throw by their star, Joel Embiid.
"It's disappointing. It kind of pisses me off," the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player said after the game.
