A team finally found Adonai Mitchell after the Indianapolis Colts selected him as their 52nd overall draft pick.

The Texas Longhorns standout was initially regarded as among the best wide receivers in the draft, but he mysteriously slid down.

He was projected as a first-round draftee, which is why he is not entirely happy with his fate in this year's draft.

In a reaction video posted by Colts reporter Stephen Holder, Mitchell did not hold back.

"Right now, the thing I'm feeling is, I'm just kinda pissed, don't know what other way to put it," he said when asked about his selection.

Although he did not directly confirm that he was feeling that way about his second-round selection, he insisted that he was ready to join the Colts, prove himself, and pay tribute to those who helped him.

"I'm just excited to get to work, excited to get down," he said.

"To be the best teammate that I can be, be the person, also be the best player I can be for the team."

Fans think Adonai Mitchell is a steal

The second round is usually where teams find young prospects ready to prove themselves in the pro.

That is what many fans think of Mitchell, even calling him a steal.

Colts general manager Jim Irsay also hailed his selection.

He played for the Texas Longhorns for just one year, but that was enough for him to impress scouts, as he recorded career highs in receptions (55), yards (845), yards per catch (15.4), and touchdowns (11).

He is regarded as an NFL-ready wide receiver and is expected to excel as a partner for Anthony Richardson.
